Phantoms Fend Off Fighting Saints With 3-goal 3rd Period, Force Game 4

Trailing 3-1 heading into the third period of a do-or-die Game 3, the Youngstown Phantoms responded with a three-goal rally to down the Dubuque Fighting Saints 4-3. John Padulo scored the eventual game-winner with less than five minutes remaining to force Game 4 Tuesday.

Phantoms Fall In Game 2 Amidst 3rd-Period Controversy

The Youngstown Phantoms surrendered a go-ahead goal early in the third period, but appeared to knot the game up moments later, only to see their dreams dashed by the referee. The Dubuque Fighting Saints were able to add a late empty-net goal to secure a 3-1 win and 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
