Curtis Hall Selected to Compete in 2017 World Junior A Challenge

YOUNGSTOWN, OH – USA Hockey announced today that, Yale Commit and current Youngstown Phantom, Curtis Hall will compete in the 2017 World Junior A Challenge from Dec. 10-16 in Truto, Nova Scotia for team USA.

Hall is in his second year with the Phantoms, after he tendered in February of 2016. So far in the 2017-18 he has tallied 10 points in 12 games. In his rookie year with the Phantoms Hall finished the season with 21 points.

The World Junior A Challenge is in its 12th year. Other teams that compete in this challenge are Canada East, Canada West, Czech Republic, Russia and Switzerland. In the 11 years that The United States have competed in this challenge, they won the title six times. Current Winnipeg Jet and Phantom Alum Kyle Connor participated in the 2013 World Junior Challenge.
