Leading up to the draft and throughout the year the Phantoms spend countless man hours in pursuit of up and coming talent from around the globe.  This is obvious when you look at the various leagues and levels that players are selected from prior to joining the Phantoms organization.  Over the course of the last 2 days the Phantoms selected players from all over the world (USA, Canada, Belarus, Japan, Slovakia and Hungary).

Brad Patterson, GM and Head Coach states, “Our scouting and recruiting staff led by Jeff Potter did a tremendous amount of work throughout the season and I think it definitely shows in how our draft went.  We not only added high end hockey players that will help our team on the ice, but we also acquired high character people who will be a direct reflection of our community and ownership group”.
