The weekend kicks off Friday with ugly sweater night. Fans wearing an ugly sweater to the game will be eligible to receive a future game voucher; it is also a Pizza Hut Party Pack night. The Phantoms will also be honoring those workers and families of the Lordstown General Motors plant by offering a special ticket offer in order to raise funds for the United Auto Workers (UAW) union. Any member of the union will receive a $7 ticket and $2 will be donated back for each ticket purchased from union members. In addition, any fan who mentions “GM” when calling for tickets will have $2 of each ticket purchased donated to the UAW. Fans who purchase tickets for the UAW fundraiser will receive a free popcorn voucher.

Saturday night will be the first Teddy Bear Toss in Youngstown since the 2014-15 season. Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to toss on the ice when the Phantoms score their first goal of the game. Bears will be donated to local children in need. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by the Covelli Centre Saturday night for photo opportunities from 6-9 PM. The newest addition to fan entertainment, “The Crossbar” will be open to fans 21 and older. Tickets to “The Crossbar” are $10 in addition to normal ticket price and fans will receive a free 16 ounce beer in a specialty re-fillable cup. Additional beers in “The Crossbar” will be $3.

The Phantoms will be honoring the Girard High School football team Saturday night in honor of their great season.
